Board Briefs for the March 14, 2016 Regular Session

Below is a synopsis of the board meeting actions and discussions that took place at the March 14, 2016 regular board meeting held at City Hall.

  5. Approved setting a public hearing for the sale of a portion of 2714 Isett Avenue to Series II Tab Investments, LLC for 7 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Administration Center.
  6. Approved  Arthur Gallagher as insurance broker for property and casualty and Holmes Murphy as insurance broker for benefits.
  7. Superintendent Riibe presented a powerpoint on fiscal planning.
  8. Approved the closing of Washington Elementary with regret and hope for the future of the school district.
  9. Approved FEH Designs to spec out the MHS Phase II Renovation Project drawings and put out for bid.
  10. Held a first reading on the following policies:
