Telling Our Story - Six Minute Solution - Reading Fluency Practice

Six Minute Solution promotes reading fluency. Students partner with other students with a similar reading level and read to each other for one minute each day. While one student reads the passage, their partner counts the number of words read. Students then graph their word count. Students read the same reading passage daily for one week. They receive a new reading passage at the beginning of each week that slightly challenges them to grow in their reading skills and improve their reading fluency from week to week.
